It has always been the aim of Schoolextranet to enable those that use Learning Platforms to take a core and active role in their development.

With this in mind, Schoolextranet will be launching a series of online discussion forums for teachers, parents and pupils, over the summer, so that everyone can play a part in how Schoolextranet develops.

For those of you that maybe unaware, this is not the first time Schoolextranet has sought the input of teachers and parents within the development of the system.

Schoolextranet was in actual fact the first Learning Platform exclusively developed for education through extensive face-to-face focus groups with Plymouth L.E.A. and then over 100 telephone interviews with teaching staff from all over the UK.

This reasearch was subsequently taken even further when our company displayed a demonstration system at BETT 2005 with the sole purpose of gathering more feedback to help ensure Schoolextranet was just what the education sector wanted.

We are now on version three of the system and as keen as ever to improve it even further.
