Do I need to install extra software or hardware before I use Schoolextranet?
No – Schoolextranet is hosted by our company on some of the most stable and secure servers within the UK. All users require is an Internet connection. In addition, Schoolextranet works across a variety of operating systems (Windows 98, 2000, XP) and browsers (Optimised to work with Internet Explorer - which, through research and internet statistics, is shown to be the most common browser used with the UK; in excess of 75% of UK Internet users).
How do we introduce Schoolextranet to users?
One of the advantages of schoolextranet is that it allows you 'roll -out' the system to the school in a measured way. You can control how and what users can access and introduce new modules when you are ready. It is done so at a pace to suit your school and we are always on-hand to assist.
Can we use our current resources?
Yes - We have developed Schoolextranet so that you may use your current content and resources. Once these have been imported in the system they can be viewed and used by those who you give access to.
Do we need to learn new passwords?
No – one of the advantages of Schoolextranet is that staff and students are able to use the same login & password combination as they use within school for ease of access and continuity
