Websites4Education is an incredibly flexible web authoring tool and contains a number of easy-to-use features to make it perfect for your school website.
Importantly, your school does not require any specific software to run Websites4Education as it is completely Internet based, and it has been designed to work across a number of different Internet Browsers and Operating Systems.
Websites4Education contains the following features:
CSS template driven – before we build your website we confirm the design of your CCS stylesheet. You will choose this from one of our range of existing templates or we can develop a bespoke one specifically for your school.
HTML editing – for those wishing to understand the code that creates websites, there is the ability to view and edit the actual HTML code.
File and image uploads – the system enables the user to upload jpegs and gifs of their choice to personalise their website. Plus you can also upload a variety of other file types Office (Word, Access, Powerpoint), Adobe (PDF, JPEG, GIFF), plus movie and sound (MPEG, Quicktime, Media Player).
Easy to use CMS - our website software enables you to simply copy and paste your website content from Notepad. It is quick and easy and you have all the standard font tools available, such as bold and italics, to personalise your content.
In addition to these core features the school also controls when the website can be published live on the Internet, using a simple permission feature to ensure the teacher always has complete control over what is seen on the Internet.
